Mariela Navarro-Torres MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine, Nephrology Dr. Navarro was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she completed her Medicine degree at Ponce Health Sciences University in Ponce. She then completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the VA in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Nephrology Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY followed by a Glomerular Disease Fellowship at Columbia University in New York.
