Program Overview
VIRTUAL CONFERENCE
Columbia University Irving Medical Center invites you to
join the leading educators from Columbia University, addressing an overview of
high-yield challenging scenarios in the understanding the clinical and
strategic management of obesity. Through a combination of lectures and
case-based presentations, this course will deliver up-to-date and cutting-edge
information that can be directly integrated into clinical practice.
Video Access
Following the program all registrants will have access to lecture video recordings for ONE month.
Learning Objectives
-Discuss the
barriers of weight loss and how maintenance plays a role.
-Target
anti-obesity drugs that achieve significant clinical weight loss.
-Identify the
guidelines for Bariatric surgery.
-Explore how
genetics plays a role in weight loss and how counseling can impact obesity
management.
