Learning Objectives
-Understand the pathophysiology of cirrhosis with special emphasis on hemodynamics.
-Discuss and explore the pathogenesis of AKI and hepatorenal syndrome in cirrhosis.
-Target between the types of hepatorenal syndrome and recognize its clinical presentations and diagnostic criteria.
-Review the latest evidence-based guidelines and best practices for the early detection and timely management of complications in cirrhotic patients, with a focus on hepatorenal syndrome, including vasoconstrictors, albumin, and other targeted therapies, along with their indications, contraindications, and potential adverse effects.

Target Audience
The course targets health professionals in the broad fields of primary care, pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, psychology, psychiatry, and cardiology, as well as scientists. This course is open to medical doctors, researchers, nurses, physician assistants, fellows.
